Oh and it amuses me how your screen capture software is unhappy with your macs screen having the gaps either side so just does some crazy hall of mirrors crap! Thinking about it it looks a bit like the cards in solitaire when you win the game….!
Wich macbook is that? Is that the unibody? Because I have the last 17 inches and i`d like to have 6gb of ram, do u know if I can? Thanks, sorry for the bad english.
MacBookPro3,1
Intel Core 2 Duo
Santa Rosa T7800 2.6GHz
6GB RAM (4GB G.Skill 2GB Crucial)
Mid 2007 65nm Merom processor
System Bus 800 MHz
RAM Type: PC2-5300 DDR2
200-pin SODIMM
MIN. RAM SPEED: 667 MHz
was that the unibody macbook pro?
awesome - i hope this works
Mac claims the MBP cannot handle 6 GB of ram, but that is a myth, it works fine. I have a G.Skill 4GB and Crucial 2GB ram stick installed.
No, they will just automatically. You won’t even really notice.
A brief monitor question, if anyone can answer it:
I currently have a 17″ laptop running @ 1440×900
If I buy a 22″ monitor @ 1680×1050 and try to dual screen with my laptop (extend my desktop) will windows get messed up as I drag them across?
What is your reccomendation for dual monitors at different resolutions?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks
