Mac claims the MBP cannot handle 6 GB of ram, but that is a myth, it works fine. I have a G.Skill 4GB and Crucial 2GB ram stick installed.

  • phoenixmonakhos says:

No, they will just automatically. You won’t even really notice.

A brief monitor question, if anyone can answer it:

    I currently have a 17″ laptop running @ 1440×900

If I buy a 22″ monitor @ 1680×1050 and try to dual screen with my laptop (extend my desktop) will windows get messed up as I drag them across?

What is your reccomendation for dual monitors at different resolutions?

    Any help is appreciated

    Thanks

lol @ “the only thing windows is good for”

    Don’t forget MS Paint!

Oh and it amuses me how your screen capture software is unhappy with your macs screen having the gaps either side so just does some crazy hall of mirrors crap! Thinking about it it looks a bit like the cards in solitaire when you win the game….!
