Little bit sloppy with the vocals barring Troy, but instrument-wise they were spot on.
Drumming was excellent as always from Brann and the tone and playing of the riffs were spot on, and the solo was good, too.
I’m not seeing them tonight in Manchester, I had to go gome to London and was forced to sell my ticket yesterday!
They are playing the entirety of Crack the Skye on this mini-UK tour, so pissed I can’t see them tonight!

between the fact that both their drummer and lead guitarist sing and are both amazing at it this is a group of redicuously talented men and this CD is one of the best i have heard in a long time
i fuckin love Tool but Mastodon are fuckin amazin aswell, they’re their own band and i wouldnt compare em to tool. theres elements in there but theres elements of bands in every band if theyve been influenced by em. its like sayin about Down, ive already got a Black Sabbath. dunt work like that.

notice how whenever its a band that everyone loves or girls are obsessed with u hear ppl screaming for them, and then again before theyre even done the song, with metal, only a select few guys who are fans are there to support, and you dont hear any clapping until way after the songs done, metal gets no respect I tell ya
wow man! dood brann Dailor is one of my favorite drummers! He does technical drumming while singing…. I’ve tried singing while drumming and its very hard. Plus I bought their CD because its one of those bands where They have my support, they are that good. Also the Cd Art is friggin out of this world good. I have it as my desktop background. Overall 5 * ! I love the face of Brent when Letterman said “I think I’m scared of these guys”… lol
