Customer Review: Great Purchase
I got this T.V. a few weeks ago. Paid $1050 for it and it is a great set. The 1080p is good. The only thing I do not like about it but it doesn’t make a difference is the SD Quality. I got it for PS3 games and Blu-Ray that are 1080p not in SD. I would recommend this set for anyone that is on a budget and wants a decent LCD.
Customer Review: A piece of garbage.
I really wanted this set to work. It was the right price and had all the right specs… on paper. In practice, I was only able to get a good picture from an HDMI input. Over a period of 45 days the set would not play a 480p signal from any source or input without dropping sync every 20 or 30 seconds. PC display was pale and had diagonal waves that travelled across the panel. The subwoofer and advanced audio items on the menu were grayed out and would not work; tech support told me this model didn’t have those items installed (!?!?!?). I refuse to play ping-pong with multiple 47″ sets in hopes that I actually get one that works. I returned this set to B/B and bought the 46″ Sony Bravia that I should have. I haven’t looked back since. Bottom line is: There are far better choices in this price range.

Best 40″ HDTV on the market. Would definitely recommend. I purchased this TV for my husband’s birthday, and I cannot get him away from it. He is watching things he doesn’t even like just to see the quality of the show in HD. We had originally ordered the same TV at Best Buy online and had a lot of hassles with delivery being delayed several times with no explanation (and terrible customer service), so we canceled the order and found it at Amazon. Delivery was as promised thru Amazon with no hassles. We saved several hundred dollars purchasing from Amazon as compared to Best Buy. Would never recommend purchasing an item from Best Buy Online. Amazon was fast, friendly and as promised.

For me it certainly lives up to expectations and surpasses other 40 inch LCD TVs with higher price tags. Great picture, contrast, inputs…very happy with this purchase.
