Customer Review: HD Heaven. Get it. Sharp delivers on the goods with this one. The picture quality is amazing, the speakers are as good as it gets built in, and the inputs are plentiful and easy to work with. I bet the newer Sharp Aquos model with upgraded features and the added HDMI input would also be sweet if the price comparison is close enough.

Sharp Aquos LC46D62U not the latest and greatest??
I purchased the D62U instead of the latest product by Sharp, the D64U, to save a few dollars. Do I regret that decision? Heck, no. The difference between the two would be transparent to me. I find that the Aquos has a true black background which gives true colors. Set up is simple. It took about five minutes to learn the controls without reading the instructions (Yes, I’m a true male). The only time I needed the instructions was to put the base to the screen. I definitely recommend this model to everyone.

The primary differences between Samsung’s LNT4661F and the step-up LNT4665F LCD HDTV is in the contrast ratio and video processing power. The pricier LNT4665F offers a 15,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio compared to this model’s 10,000:1 ratio, and also offers full 10bit video processing over this model’s 8 bit system. The more expensive model should display finer gradients of shading making for more detail in darker scenes. The video processing difference should ensure smoother motion in fast moving scenes for the LNT4065F.

The Samsung Digital Natural Image engine (DNIe) Video Enhancer refines all analog NTSC and wideband video inputs for an overall improvement in picture quality. Great HDTV! The Samsung LNT4661F 46″ 1080p LCD HDTV is a great TV and a bargain. Was skeptical of ordering on-line especially after reading a couple of negative reviews. However, the unit proved them wrong. It was just about as easy as plug-and-play on the computer. I use DishNetwork as the source and am very pleased with the pictured delivered. Using BluRay for highdef DVD is excellent and makes you feel as if you have been in the theater. The colors are brilliant and I have found no problem with “smear” when the camera pans across a field of view. Thanks SAMSUNG

Still happy after three months of use.
Maybe you’re not like me. Maybe you don’t hook up a laptop to your big-screen TV. Let’s say, though, that you do. What would you expect? Perfect picture resolution? Near HD quality from XViD and DiVX encoded videos? If you said “yes”… you’re absolutely correct. This is a wonderful TV. Inputs for all sorts of video, a USB link, a very useful remote, the list has been enumerated already. I love it, and it impresses everyone who comes by and sees it. And for under 2k shipped to my door, and unpacked in my house? Unbeatable.
