Vizio 47″ HDTV Surround Sound: Turn off or on?
This question is to anyone out there who knows about / has experience with virtual surround sound and/or vizio’s HDTVs.
Is it better to have ‘virtual surround sound’ turned on, or off? (on my Vizio 47″ 1080p LCD HDTV)

This is a personal preference.
Virtural Surround Sound will “expand” the stereo…which at times can drown out what you’re trying to hear. This can actually cause slightly unnatural sound at times, and at others will give you an impression of “better sound”
It’s purely subjective and up to you if you want it on or off.
